The Malvern School seeks an Assistant Teacher to float between classrooms at The Malvern School of West Norriton, PA. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You will assist in delivering a quality Early Childhood Education program, maintain a safe classroom, and regularly communicate with families using in-person and digital channels.

Competenze

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility or 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) with 1250 hours experience.
• Ability to support Early Childhood Education programs and adhere to school policies.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.

• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy.
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.

What we need from you

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
