Floating Assistant Community Manager / Leasing Professional

Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Floating Assistant Community Manager / Leasing Professional to join our team! Under the supervision of the Community Manager, your primary responsibilities include supporting all phases of property operation such as administration, leasing, maintenance, and property management. The goal is to maximize occupancy and property value.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and relevant laws.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly variance reports.
  • Support the development and monitoring of property budgets to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Help develop annual operating budgets.
  • Handle special projects and duties as assigned.
  • Prepare contracts, resident welcome packages, and forms for accounting adjustments.
  • Manage move-out reconciliations and maintain resident contact information.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure repairs are completed satisfactorily.
  • Maintain community appearance and assist in planning resident events.
  • Enforce community policies.
  • Prepare rent increase notices and manage accounts receivable, including late fees and discrepancies.
  • Analyze rental income, market conditions, and conduct property tours for prospective residents.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree is a plus.
  • Preferred experience in property management.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification is desirable but not required.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to build relationships.
