Job summary

UDR, Inc. in Danvers, MA is seeking a Floating Service Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will support maintenance across our North Shore communities, with a schedule roughly 8:30am–5:30pm or 9am–6pm and occasional half-days on Sundays. Applicants should have a vocational certificate or degree and at least two years of building and mechanical maintenance experience, including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in building and mechanical maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair painting and drywall.
• HVAC knowledge and carpentry experience are pluses.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service and repair or restore service within time standards.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of the community and report safety issues immediately.
• Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other maintenance tasks.
• Maintain tools and workspace and assist in stocking inventory.
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
