Job summary

Lititz Christian School is seeking an energetic Afterschool Teacher to support students from kindergarten through 6th grade. The position is part-time and involves covering breaks in the Early Learning Centers, then transitioning to the Manheim After School site in the afternoon.

The role requires a minimum of 2,500 hours of childcare experience, a high-energy, upbeat personality, and excellent teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2500 hours of childcare experience or equivalent education courses completed.
• High energy, engaging and a team player.
• Excellent communication and team player qualities.

Afterschool Teacher

Lititz Christian School is a family environment where our teachers and staff are valued, cared for, and equipped to teach the children in our care. Our afterschool program cares for children at Lititz Christian School, Warwick and Manheim Central school districts. This is a part‑time position.

Responsibilities:

• Cover breaks in classrooms at one of our Early Learning Centers during the day then transition into a Manheim After School site in the afternoon.

Requirements:

• Must successfully pass all background checks, including fingerprint and reference checks.
• Ability to interact with children and the school age team, give direction and vision when needed.
• Minimum of 2500 hours of Childcare experience or equivalent education courses completed.
