As an afterschool care worker, you will support our school’s mission by fostering an atmosphere that reflects Christian values and principles.

Part-time position, typically Monday through Friday, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Exact hours may vary based on school needs and activities.

Essential Functions

1. Supervision and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times during afterschool hours.
2. Activity Coordination: Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote physical, social, and emotional development.
3. Homework Assistance: Assist students with completing homework assignments and provide academic support when needed.
4. Snack Time: Oversee snack time and ensure snacks provided align with school policies, which may include considerations for allergies and dietary restrictions.
5. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, teachers, and school administration regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
6. Spiritual Guidance: Integrate Christian values into daily activities and interactions with students, promoting spiritual growth and character development.
7. Clean-Up: Ensure that the afterschool care area is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
