Job summary

Lititz Christian School is seeking an enthusiastic Afterschool Teacher to support the school age program for kindergarten through 6th grade.

This part-time role runs Monday through Friday, 1:30–5:30 pm, with possible summer option. You will collaborate with the director and team to implement weekly lesson plans and create a warm, engaging environment.

Candidates should be energetic, able to communicate well, and complete background and reference checks.

Qualifications

• High energy, engaging and a team player.
• Ability to interact with children and the school age team.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass all background checks including fingerprint and references.

Responsibilities

• Assist, oversee and engage with the after school program during the school year.
• Work with afterschool team to contribute ideas and oversight.
• Apply weekly lesson plans submitted by director or site-lead.
• Oversee a group of school age children in kindergarten through 6th grade.
• Attend required staff trainings and meetings.
