Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Floater Litigation Legal Assistant to provide coverage across multiple litigation teams as needed. This is a dynamic, fast-paced position suited for a proactive and adaptable legal assistant with strong multitasking skills and the ability to integrate quickly with different attorneys and case types.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide litigation support across various practice areas, filling in during absences or periods of high volume
Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents (state and federal courts, including e-filing)
Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, and client meetings
Handle case management tasks, including maintaining electronic files and trial binders
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filings
Draft correspondence and routine legal documents with minimal supervision
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Perform other administrative duties as needed to support attorneys and staff

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a litigation legal assistant
Solid knowledge of Nevada civil procedure and court filing requirements (state and federal)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management systems
Familiarity with e-filing platforms (e.g., Odyssey, CM/ECF, File & ServeXpress)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal communication skills
High degree of discretion and confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a boutique or mid-sized law firm environment
Knowledge of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, or business law
