Job summary

Action pact is seeking a full-time EHS Floater to support teachers and manage day-to-day classroom activities within a Head Start environment. The Floater will rotate assignments across centers and may assist in other service area locations as needed.

Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED; CDA/TCC or related coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for ongoing training within our community-centered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA/TCC or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the assigned teacher with day-to-day classroom management and lesson planning.
• Follow an approved curriculum and daily schedule with developmentally appropriate activities.
• Monitor and report suspected child abuse as required.
• Record and assess each child’s progress and update documentation accordingly.
• Assist in developing individualized goals and plans for children as needed.
• Support Parent/Guardian communication and coordinate with volunteers and community resources.
