Job summary

SPS Global is seeking a dependable Courier Driver (Floater) to support logistics and delivery operations in Culver City, California. This role ensures safe, timely parcel and freight deliveries while maintaining accurate logs and delivering exceptional customer service.

The role covers dock support, freight coordination, and vehicle maintenance in a fast-paced environment. You will represent SPS professionally, follow safety policies, and seek additional tasks during downtime to support team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work assigned hours as determined by manager.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Navigate delivery routes via company vehicle to deliver mail and parcels safely and efficiently.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery of packages across designated locations.
• Maintain accurate logs and time stamps for all deliveries and pickups.
• Support chain-of-custody procedures and documentation requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading freight in accordance with safety and operational procedures.
• Coordinate proper distribution and handling of freight shipments.
• Maintain organized dock operations to support efficient workflow.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain delivery vehicles according to company maintenance standards.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies when operating vehicles.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and SPS employees.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive service attitude.
• Proactively assist other operational areas when needed.
• Seek additional work during downtime to support team productivity.
