Celebree School of Ashburn Farm is hiring an entry-level Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers and uphold high standards of care and education. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, in a collaborative, inclusive team that values ideas and recognizes contributions.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Supervise children during activities; counsel children using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensure the appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the classroom are maintained.
• Present a professional image adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, greeting by name and providing regular updates on development.

• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
