Celebree School is seeking an Entry Level Childcare Aide / Assistant Teacher in Ashburn, VA. You will support lead teachers, help deliver the curriculum, and ensure every child’s needs are met in a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, with no nights or weekends. Join a caring team focused on growth, learning, and a safe, nurturing classroom for children.

Qualifications

• Age requirement: at least 30 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
