Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in classroom management and uphold regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Create a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Support smooth classroom transitions and supervise children during activities.
• Utilize positive and appropriate discipline techniques when counseling children.
• Help maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the classroom.
• Present a professional image and adhere to uniform requirements.
• Communicate with parents by greeting them by name and providing timely updates on development and happenings.

Responsibilities

As a Child care Aide/Assistant Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

• Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
