Celebree School of Ashburn Farm in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Childcare Aide / Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers and uphold high standards of care and education for each child. This entry-level role emphasizes collaboration, inclusivity, and recognition of contributions within the team.

You will work Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, in a supportive, growth-oriented environment where ideas are valued and opportunities for professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 30 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
