Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer - Floater to deliver comprehensive athletic training services across school and community settings. The role covers injury prevention, field emergencies, clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and documentation, with coordination of referrals within the healthcare system.

Responsibilities include partnering with physicians, coaches, schools, and teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training from CAATE-accredited program.
• Current athletic trainer certification (BOC).
• State license or eligibility to obtain licensure within 30 days of hire.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) CPR/AED training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services at collegiate/professional events to support community service goals.
• Collaborate with Sports Medicine Team and assist with event coverage as needed.
• Provide acute medical care on the field during practices or events.
• Delivery of clinical athletic training services at local orthopedic clinics as needed.
• On-site evaluation and care for illnesses and injuries, including emergencies.
