Role Description – Floater Assistant Teacher (Flexible Hours): We are currently hiring a Floater Assistant Teacher—a flexible, dependable team member who can step in where needed throughout the day. This position requires someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is available for a range of shifts, and thrives in a team-based environment. Shifts may vary between 5:00 AM and 11:30 PM, so schedule flexibility is essential.

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous childcare experience is a plus.

Certifications:

CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).

TB test and physical required (preferably completed before starting).

Background check mandatory.

Skills & Traits:

Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work various shifts.

Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive.

Patient, caring, and adaptable to working with different age groups.

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout shifts.

Responsibilities:

Fill in across classrooms to assist lead teachers and maintain child-to-staff ratios.

Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, activities, and naps.

Help implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.

Encourage positive behavior and social skills through active engagement.

Communicate effectively with coworkers and provide updates to parents when needed.

Comply with all safety protocols, health policies, and training requirements.

Pay Rate:

$13.75 per hour
