Floater Teacher – The Learning Experience Rosenberg

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Floater Teacher to join our team!

At The Learning Experience – Rosenberg, we believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. As a Floater Teacher, you will support multiple classrooms and help create meaningful learning experiences for our little learners.

This is an entry-level position.

Floater Teacher Responsibilities

• Assist lead and assistant teachers across different age groups.
  
  
• Support the implementation of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum.
  
  
• Create a safe, loving, and engaging learning environment.
  
  
• Supervise children during activities, meals, naps, and outdoor play.
  
  
• Assist with daily care routines, including feeding, diapering, and toileting.
  
  
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and follow all health and safety guidelines.
  
  
• Provide classroom coverage during breaks and staffing needs.
  
  
• Communicate positively with parents, teachers, and center leadership.
  
  

Floater Teacher Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
  
  
• Experience: Previous childcare experience is required.
  
  
• Skills: Must be patient, dependable, flexible, and passionate about working with children.
  
  
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid
  
  
• Requirements: Must meet all applicable Texas childcare licensing and background check requirements.
