Cadence Education in Richmond, VA is seeking a passionate Teacher - Floater/Afterschool to join our team. You will support daily classroom operations, implement Cadence Education programs, and help create a safe, nurturing environment for young children, including those with IEPs.

You’ll work under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, building positive relationships with children and families while adhering to licensing and safety standards. This role starts today.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, but not required if state licensing is met.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.
• Experience in an early childhood or group care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Adhere to Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
