Job summary

Just for Kids Ashland City is seeking an Assistant Teacher/Floaters to support Twos and other age groups. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass background checks are required.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm; Pay: $12–$16/hour depending on education and experience. You will assist the lead teacher, implement activities that promote emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development, and maintain a clean, safe classroom.

• Previous childcare experience preferred.

Just for Kids Ashland City is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teacher s/Floaters to support Twos and Various age groups.

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Compensation: $12 - $16 an hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process:

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.

• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
