Job summary

Camden National Bank is seeking a Teller to handle teller transactions and support service and sales activities. This position will float to cover multiple banking centers in the region, delivering a high quality banking experience to customers.

The role requires strong cash handling and customer service skills, with knowledge of teller processing, account services, and basic computer systems. Training and growth opportunities are offered within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Display working knowledge of bank application software to obtain customer information and balances.
• Serve customers in a cordial manner and foster a positive customer experience.
• Process transactions with appropriate judgment and refer items outside authority to a supervisor.
• Accept deposits, verify cash, issue receipts, process withdrawals and cash checks within guidelines.
• Process deposits and payments received by mail, night drop, and ATM.
• Respond to general customer inquiries and assist with consumer and business products.
• Deliver the best banking experience to customers.
• Demonstrate knowledge of bank products and services.
