Job description

SUMMARY: This position will fulfill the duties of a teller as described below by traveling as needed between multiple offices. This travel may include multiple locations within a single workday. Processes a variety of customer transactions at a teller window. Recognizes customer needs and recommends products, services, or assistance of other bank employees or departments, to consistently deliver a superior level of customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Operate and balance a terminal and cash drawer daily.
2. Accept and process transactions such as savings, checking, Holiday Savings accounts, loan payments, SDB rental payments, tax deposits, sell money orders/official checks, and cash withdrawals.
3. Accept checks for cashing in accordance with FNB check handling procedures.
4. Maintain strong knowledge of bank products and services, recognize customer needs, and cross-sell bank products.
5. Participate in the bank's referral and incentive programs, utilizing applicable technology and/or programs to show results.
6. Work consistently to achieve personal and branch goals.
7. Complete all required training courses.
8. Be flexible and foster a teamwork-oriented work environment.
9. Assist vault teller with duties related to money shipments and orders.
10. Perform additional branch duties outside of transaction processing as needed.
11. Handle all cash, customer transactions, and information securely, in accordance with FNB policies.
12. Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective clients.
13. Maintain flexibility in work schedules to meet branch staffing needs.
14. Keep all customer information confidential, maintaining trust and responsibility.
15. Accept additional responsibilities and projects assigned by supervisors to add value.
16. Work effectively in a team and maintain a positive attitude with coworkers and the public.
17. Complete mandatory and elective training, including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
18. Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
19. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. Proven cash handling experience.
3. Basic computer skills, including use of calculators, typewriters, phones, fax machines, and other office equipment.
4. Customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
