Job summary

The Learning Experience- Clinton Hill in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Float Teacher to nurture young minds in a vibrant, supportive environment. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities to collaborate with a dedicated team.

You will assist lead teachers with lesson plans and activities, engage children across various ages, and help maintain a safe, welcoming classroom while communicating with families about progress and milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma.
• Previous experience working with young children and passion for early childhood education.
• Background checks as required by state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Available Monday- Friday 11:30am-6:00pm.
• Support lead teachers by assisting with lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Engage with children in various age groups, fostering a love for learning.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
• Facilitate play-based learning and hands-on activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student development.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
