Job summary

MyPath in Wisconsin is seeking a Float- Special Education Teacher to join our team as a flexible co-teacher supporting students with disabilities across multiple classrooms and settings.

In this role you will help update and implement IEPs, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, lead IEP meetings when needed, and ensure accurate progress monitoring. The position offers comprehensive benefits and competitive salaries starting at $56,500 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• State Teaching Certification in Special Education or General Education.
• Strong communication, empathy, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Review records of incoming students and prepare for possible classroom inclusion.
• Step in as temporary IEP case manager when needed and update plans.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and teams to support IEP development.
• Lead IEP meetings and ensure progress monitoring and documentation.
• Complete paperwork, daily lesson plans, and behavior data on time.
• Adapt to changing student needs and enrollments as directed.
• Provide leadership to staff supporting the classroom.
