Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Sitter - Float Pool for a part-time shift 7a–7p. The sitter will perform designated tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, focusing on high-risk psychiatric, suicidal or potentially violent patients.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training; preferred are Nursing Assistant or EMT training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nonviolent crisis prevention training required and maintained annually.
• Nursing Assistant training or EMT training preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Sitter performs designated tasks in care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Duties include close watch assignments for high risk psychiatric, suicidal or potentially violent patients.
