Job summary

First Citizens Bank in North Carolina seeks a Sales and Service Representative to process transactions, handle customer requests, and promote bank products. You’ll educate customers on tools and services and support branch sales efforts by referring opportunities to the right partners.

This float role requires driving to multiple offices (Cary, Raleigh, Apex, Garner, Fuquay-Varina) with mileage reimbursed; flexibility and strong customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 6 months’ experience in customer service.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license. Position requires frequent driving to other offices; mileage will be reimbursed.

Complete required training by established deadlines. Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency.

The Sales and Service Representative is responsible for processing transactions and other customer service requests in the branch. Facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools, and resources. Supports the sales efforts of a branch team by identifying and referring sales opportunities to the appropriate bank partner.

This is a float position and will require travel to provide coverage to 2 branches in Cary, 1 in Raleigh, 1 in Apex, 1 in Garner, and 1 in Fuquay-Varina. Mileage will be reimbursed.

• Operations and Administration - Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures. Complete required training by established deadlines. Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency. Associates in roles defined to take deposits are accountable for transaction accuracy and operational efficiency of that function. The results may include an accountability for individual contribution as well as team performance.
