Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse (7p–7a) to join our dedicated team. You will perform initial nursing assessments, document admission data, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a care plan within eight hours of admission.

You will administer medications, monitor for adverse reactions, perform dressing changes, and provide pre/post-operative care and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current Florida nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS are required.
• Minimum of 8 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial vital signs and admission history.
• Administers medications within 30 minutes of scheduled time and monitors effects.
• Performs dressing changes using aseptic technique and documents care.
• Provides pre-operative and post-operative care and education for surgical patients.
• Transfers patients in/out of unit with correct orders and documentation.
• Maintains hand hygiene and adheres to standard precautions.
