Job summary

• RN license in the state of employment or compact required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications and care given.
• Educates patients and families; assesses learning needs and provides resources.
• Supports unit operations and staffing within assigned shifts.
