Job summary
TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee seeks a Float Medical-Surgical Acute Care Registered Nurse to support patient care across units and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to meet physical and emotional needs of patients and families. The role requires at least 1 year of med/surg experience, graduation from an accredited School of Professional Nursing, current Tennessee RN license, and current BLS certification.
Med-Surg certification within 1 year is encouraged.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
- Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assessments and reassessments, developing plans of care, medication administration and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
- Maintain equipment and educate patients and families.
- Support patient and family needs and ensure high-quality care.
- Demonstrate nursing skills and adherence to scope of service.
