Job summary

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Float Medical-Surgical/Acute Care Registered Nurse to deliver and coordinate high-quality care for diverse patient populations. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment plans and accurate documentation.

With a minimum of one year med/surg experience and Tennessee nursing licensure, you will round on patients, administer medications, and contribute to care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient rounds to maximize satisfaction and maintain quality standards.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary team for patient care.
• Administer medications and document care.
• Develop individualized care plans and re-assess as needed.
• Demonstrate nursing skills and procedures during care.
