Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, a leader in health care, is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Pre-Operative, PACU, and Endoscopy units. This RN will float across ASC locations, delivering patient-centered care and following ASPAN/AORN standards.

The role requires cross-functional experience and flexibility with shifts and travel. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide health system.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher required.
• Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS required or current.
• 3+ years RN experience in PACU, Pre-OP, or Endoscopy.
• 2+ years RN cross-functional experience in two of PACU/Pre-Op/Endoscopy.
• Ability to travel between ASC locations and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follows standards of care related to nursing process.
• Conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, maintains medical records.
• Communicates effectively with physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors.
• Performs safe and competent operative and perioperative nursing care according to policies and standards.
• Takes part in preoperative call process and ensures documentation is accurate.
