Job summary

Memorial Hospital of Gardena in Gardena, CA is seeking a Float Pool RN to join the team. The Float Pool RN can be assigned to any unit within the floating cluster assigned, per the competency, ensuring safe, patient-centered care across Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, PACU and more.

This full-time role requires 3 shifts per week with weekend availability and base pay between $44.28 and $65.10 per hour, with overtime after 8 hours and an average rate of $51.66–$75.95.

Qualifications

• Float Pool RN with at least 1 year of float experience.
• Ability to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry and Behavioral Health units.
• Strong clinical skills in wound care and telemetry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork using AIDET.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care across assigned float pool units.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform daily equipment checks and ensure safety.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams for transfers and discharges.
