Qualifications

• Associates Degree of Nursing and at least one year of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license in TX upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to deliver cost-effective, quality patient care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, nursing diagnoses and plans.
• Document in patient records per health system standards.
• Educate patients and families on pain, nutrition, skin integrity, falls, diabetes and discharge.
• Contribute to patient safety and ethical decision-making.
