Job summary
Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Missouri is seeking an experienced Float RN for the Clinical Nurse Float Pool. You will provide care across 65+ inpatient units, enhancing versatility and clinical leadership while supporting a leading academic medical center.
This 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) offers a $15/hour float differential and additional shift differentials. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced settings, stay current on education, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth and career
Qualifications
- Current RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a variety of clinical settings.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment.
- Educates patients and families on illness management, home care needs and medications.
- Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory activities; supports professional development.
- Develops and documents plans of care with defined goals across the interprofessional team.
