Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Critical Care Float to support ICU, ED, CVU, and PACU. This full-time days position is 0.90 FTE, with pay range $45.78–$82.98/hour and potential signing bonus/relocation assistance.

The successful candidate will hold an active RN license with BLS, have 2+ years in ED/ICU, and be ACLS/NIHSS certified within six months. The role emphasizes high-quality, collaborative patient care across departments.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• 2+ years of recent ED/ICU/ICU stepdown experience.
• Ability to care for critically ill medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological and trauma patients.
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Float between critical care departments based on staffing needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
• Document patient care and support safety and quality initiatives.
