Job summary

Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James) seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Acute Care Float Pool to manage and coordinate care for inpatients and their families.

The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model, while supervising other team members and ensuring high-quality, safe patient care on rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• A CCNE/ACEN-accredited nursing degree is required.
• Current Ohio nursing license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient and family care across shifts.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care per professional practice model.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.

Education

Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program
