Job summary

The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Float - Acute Care team. The nurse will manage and provide care to patients and families, and supervise other members of the patient care team.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating nursing care in alignment with the professional practice model. Rotating shifts, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• RN degree from CCNE/ACEN accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to the patient and family, and direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
