Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Float Pool Registered Respiratory Therapist to support respiratory care across Methodist Hospital (Omaha) and affiliated facilities. The role requires travel between sites with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and call rotation.

Candidates should have an active NBRC RRT license for NE and IA, 2–3 years ICU/ED/NICU experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. AAS in Respiratory Care is required, BS preferred.

Formación

• Associate of Science Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years ICU/ED and NICU experience required.
• RRT certification and Nebraska/Iowa licensure required; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and complex respiratory care modalities independently.
• Document interventions and progress in the medical record.
• Maintain protocols and ensure high-quality patient care across facilities.
• Coordinate with care teams and update care plans as needed.
• Support staffing flexibility and cross-site coverage across multiple Methodist hospitals.
