Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Float Pool Respiratory Therapist to provide high‑quality respiratory care across multiple Methodist facilities. The role requires adaptability to different units, strong clinical judgment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years ICU/ED/NICU experience, active RRT licensure for NE and IA, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RRT license in Nebraska and Iowa.
• 2–3 years ICU/ED/NICU experience.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex modalities of respiratory care.
• Documents procedures in patient records in the information system.
• Develops and revises plans of care to optimize outcomes.
• Evaluates patients with attending physicians and interprets orders.
• Provides RT coverage across assigned care areas as needed.
