Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a float pool Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support multiple facilities, including Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Methodist Women's Hospital, and affiliates in Council Bluffs, IA. The role requires RRT licensure in NE and IA and offers flexible staffing with travel between sites.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $17,500, 36-hour weeks, day shifts, and a rotation including weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Respiratory Care required.
• Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care preferred.
• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist with Nebraska and Iowa licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex respiratory care modalities independently.
• Document procedures and patient progress in the medical record.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across facilities.
• Coordinate with respiratory and care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Adapt to varying units, workflows, and patient populations.
