Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool in Leominster, MA. This part-time, day-shift role runs 7:00a–7:30p with a 24-hour schedule and on-site work. The position is part of the NSG Float Pool with holidays and weekends rotation. A signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
• BLS certification required for every RN; ACLS certification preferred if current.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within assigned clinical settings.
• Delivers medications and assists with treatments and procedures as required.
• Participates in quality improvement and performance improvement initiatives.
