Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Float Pool in the Night shift. You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts, and implement care plans in a diverse clinical setting.

The role requires an active Alabama RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. You will collaborate with physicians and other care team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes during night hours.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed by Alabama Board of Nursing before hire.
• One year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment per policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor and communicate patient condition.
• Coordinate care with all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with the healthcare team.
