Job summary

Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital in Presque Isle, ME is seeking a Float Pool RN for MST/Rehab with a choice of ER or ICU. This 12 hour/week position is part time ineligible, with a schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and a wage range of $35.92–$50.66 per hour.

Exempt status is No; duties include high-quality nursing care and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The Staff Nurse II role requires competency in nursing practice, supervision of staff, and coordination of patient care across units.

Qualifications

• BLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment by assisting with planning and implementation of hospital policies and national safety goals.
• Recognized by peers as an expert in location, operation, care and trouble-shooting of unit equipment.
• Performs in-depth, discriminating assessments utilizing advanced knowledge and skills.
• Anticipate and detects subtle shifts in patient status and/or needs and responds with collaboration.
