Job summary

Mosaic in Grand Island, Nebraska is seeking an RN or LPN to join our Float Pool on a PRN schedule with no weekends and no on-call requirements—minimum 24 hours per quarter and maximum 24 hours per week. You’ll work across multiple locations, delivering compassionate, person-centered care and building meaningful connections with the people we serve.

In this role you’ll administer medications, monitor vital signs, educate staff, and partner with doctors to ensure preventive care.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Nebraska (or state of practice).
• At least one year of general nursing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification (can obtain after hire at the agency).
• Ability to travel between locations and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the people we serve.
• Physical stamina: able to move, stand, and transfer up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be a Partner in Health: assist individuals with daily health tasks and help them understand their own health journeys.
• Be an Advocate: work with doctors and support teams to ensure preventive care for all.
• Be a Teacher: train and support direct care staff.
• Be a Clinical Pro: administer medications and monitor vital signs.
