Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse for our Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE. The role covers multiple units (Surgical Short Stay, Oncology, ACE, Medical-Surgical, and more) with a 10:45pm–7:15am schedule on weekdays and rotating holidays. Two years of RN experience are required.

BSN/MSN preferred or ADN with a 5-year upgrade plan. Provide compassionate care across units, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support patient education and discharge

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of RN experience.
• Strong clinical adaptability and teamwork.
• Ability to provide compassionate, high‑quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care per Population Specific Criteria.
• Demonstrate ability to identify opportunities for individualized patient care.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessment to determine nursing care needs.
• Develop, review, and revise the plan of care for optimum outcomes.
• Implement interventions aligned with the plan of care.
• Maintain professional behavior and effective communication.
