Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an RN to join the Floating Pool at Southside Medical Center, VA. The role requires flexibility to staff across sites and departments, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating nursing plans of care under clinical supervision.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current state license, BLS, and 1 year of acute care experience, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Current nursing license in the state of employment is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS per specialty.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience is required.
• Proficient in clinical skills and use of medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Float across departments and sites within markets to provide patient care.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate patient care with the health care team and document appropriately.
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Maintain professional practice standards and adapt to changing staffing needs.
