Job summary

Penn Medicine is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity setting. The role requires PA licensure, ACLS, and a BSN with 5+ years in NICU/LD/PEDS; certification in a clinical specialty is preferred.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care, participate in quality initiatives, and mentor junior staff in a supportive academic medical environment.

Qualifications

• Must be registered nurse with PA licensure.
• ACLS/ALS certification required; ACLS/PALS in IHR clusters.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing with 5+ years in NICU/LD/MB/PEDS; clinical specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and utilize nursing process.
• Perform admissions, shift assessments, and ongoing patient care planning.
• Administer medications per policy; monitor for safety and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively (SBAR).
• Mentor and precept new staff and students; participate in quality initiatives.

Education

Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
