Job summary

Blue Ridge Regional Hospital is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to support both Acute Care and the Emergency Department. The RN will coordinate and provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, serving as an advocate for patients and families.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an active NC nursing license, and BLS/ALCS/PALS/CPI certifications; ER experience is preferred and a Master’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience.
• ER or strong hospital nursing experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Masters in Nursing preferred.
• Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
• BLS, ALCS, PALS and CPI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the RN role within Acute Care and the ED.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team to advocate for patients/families/caregivers and support positive clinical outcomes.
