The nurse will float to Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Ortho, Cardiovascular, Progressive Care, Mental Health, and Acute Rehab units, performing assessments, implementing care plans, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must have 2yrs RN inpatient experience.
• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• ACLS within 1 year (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Performs unit-specific nursing duties and maintains accurate documentation.
• Conducts initial patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Implements and adjusts care plans with patient/family input.
• Maintains safety and quality standards; reports hazards.
• Floats to Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Ortho, CVCU, PCCU, Mental Health, and Acute Rehab.
• Delivers direct nursing care and coordinates with multidisciplinary team.
