Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• 1-year minimum RN staff experience in medical/surgical or telemetry environment preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrates an aptitude and willingness to learn new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent and compassionate nursing care by utilizing the nursing process.
• Assesses patient needs and develops an individualized plan of care.
• Implements plan of care with coordination and supervision of the care team.
• Delegates appropriately and communicates patient status to caregivers.
• Documents assessments and interventions accurately in the patient record.
• Promotes evidence-based care and participates in unit leadership and mentoring.
