San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality care across multiple inpatient and clinical areas based on census, acuity, and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• California RN license active and in good standing.
• Acute hospital experience preferred: 1–3 years; 5 years in a specialty.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications required upon hire.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in assigned departments based on staffing needs, census and acuity.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and identify changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, blood products, treatments per orders and standards.
• Recognize deterioration and initiate appropriate interventions and escalation of care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team; educate patients and families.
