Job summary

The Valley Health System (VHS) is seeking an experienced registered nurse for Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas to provide safe, patient-centered care in an acute setting.

You will lead and support the healthcare team, align with facility policies, and uphold Service Excellence standards.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Nevada RN license and BLS; BSN preferred; 1 year acute care/3 years part-time experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in Nevada (state requirements).
• BSN preferred for this role.
• Experience: 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time in acute care preferred.
• Current BLS; PALS or NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence in all interactions.
